Schwinn's World GSE has everything you need to explore your world in comfort and style: a pedal-assist electric motor, a rear rack, full fenders, an easy-pedaling SRAM 24-speed drivetrain and even a bell! The World GSE uses Schwinn's innovative Plug 'N' Drive system that allows you to recharge the battery in 4 hours (perfect for at work!) and it provides approximately 60 miles of power-assisted pedaling depending on weight, terrain and weather conditions. Other niceties on this cruiser include smooth-rolling aluminum wheels, riser handlebars and a suspension seatpost to keep your body feeling fresh mile after mile.
Schwinn World GSE. The World is powered by a 180 Watt continuous: 250 watts max front hub rotor motor. The battery was a Schwinn Protanium Lithium Polymer 10AH. The bike handles well and helpson minor hills quite well.

The controls are very simple (on or off) and the display shows how much juice you have left. It does not have regenerative breaking and is purely power assist. You must pedal.

With a price tag of around MSRP $1799.99 I think it is a good commute bike.
